
Guilherme Cunha was born in Belo Horizonte (MG), majored in fine arts in Guignard School – UEMG (2004), and was a fellow at Pittsburg State University (KS /USA) in 2002. He is a visual artist, an independent researcher and a cultural producer. His production is transported through different means specifically acting at the intersection between visual arts, sciences and philosophy. He was artist in residence at Atelier # 3 at Casa Tomada (SP / 2010), at JA.CA (BH / 2014) and RedBull Station (SP / 2014); He was awarded the exhibition program of the Marcantônio Vilaça Cultural Space in 2015, the XIII Marc Ferrez FUNARTE Photography Award and was a cofounder of the project that received the XIV Marc Ferrez FUNARTE Photography Award. He is the cofounder and director of FIF BH – International Festival of Photography in Belo Horizonte (fif.art.br).
